Week 3- Composition

This drawing has some very good perspective. This was from the Chesham car park in the right hand corner between a building and a lorry. There is some strong foreshortening of the lorry, windows and the building. I like the way that the eye perceives the 3D surfaces of the building and the lorry which makes it looks smaller in the distance. From my perspective, the orthogonal lines of the lorry and the building seem to converge to the vanishing point. Overall, the drawing has a great deal of perspective and foreshortening, but lacks in detail and accuracy.

Sem 1- Week 1- Basics- Bilal Hussain

These are some mark makings in the first week of dots, lines and shapes created in the first week. I struggled with drawing them accurately and found it difficult holding the pencil in the new way.

This is a successful drawing of a box. It has some good and smooth lines of the box and table and fairly accurate measurements. What I like about the drawing is that it has some interesting detail of the shadows at the back of the box which makes seem realistic. However, the gradient of the shading has ruined drawing by making it seem darker than it should be.
